EPISODE 27 – It’s been 84 y’EARS’ *Insert Titanic Meme*

It’s been 3 long months since our last episode, but it feels like 84 years. We are blaming our extended absence on having partied too hard celebrating our 1 year anniversary, and we blacked out only to fall down a rabbit hole into an alternate universe where some people wore masks and there was lots of yelling on TV from two old guys…. wait…. that wasn’t an episode of the Muppets? It’s real-life?!?!

In any case, we are BACK. At least for the month of November, where we are giving you an episode of your favorite train wreck Disney podcast to hold you over until the holidays. On this episode of 4 The Mouseketeers we pack plenty of content into the show for your auditory enjoyment. Join us as we talk about:

  • Devastating Disney Layoffs
    • Help us help cast members – please drop some small shops owned by former CM’s in the comments of our blog, so we can promote them and provide some financial support for the holidays.
    • Also check out the information below on how you can help support other charities that keep CM’s fed during this difficult time.
  • Problem Privileged Guests
  • Park Capacity
  • How to kill time at your Disney dining reservation
  • Face Mask Etiquette
  • Annual Passholder Perks
  • My strange Loungefly addiction

Helping out CM’s

CAST MEMBER PANTRY: This initiative was created to help cast members keep food on their table while they have been furloughed or recently laid off from Disney.

If you’d like to donate to The Cast Member Pantry via Venmo, their account for monetary gifting is @castmemberpantry.

They also have an Amazon Wish List with their most-needed groceries on it which is the quickest way to get food to them.

The Cast Member Pantry is currently open to all furloughed cast members. All you need to do is send an email to castmemberpantry@gmail.com and you will receive an auto-reply email with a link that will take you to a site to register. Once you’re registered, an appointment time will be generated for you to go pick up your bag. They also have their messages in Spanish for CM’s whose first language is not English.

You can also join their Facebook group to interact with them and to stay up-to-date on any changes and updates.
