SHARING THE LOVE

On the podcast we also promised you helpful links and tips to plan your most memorable Valentine’s Day, whether you are at Disney or not. So let’s walk down lover’s lane, shall we?

Grand Floridian Private Dining: Call 407-824-1951 to set up this experience, but be prepared to shell out upwards of $250 per person for the view, the chef-curated experience, as well as a private butler on a private balcony.

Magic Bands: These are available on property or from Shop Disney. The variety and selection are always changing online, so check back often to find the perfect magic band.

Dooney and Burke bags: Let me tell you from personal experience that these purses hold their worth and are made from quality materials. The price point can make you a little anxious with bags rarely dipping below the $100 mark, but these purses are perfect for the Disney loving lady. Shop for Dooney online.

Basin products: Located at Disney Springs, this store offers you his and hers gifts for shower, body, and face. This is a wonderful alternative gift to give for a Disney lover without having to go to the parks. You can also order online.

Characters in Flight: This is one of the original Downtown Disney attractions that survived the overhaul to what we know now as Disney Springs. Occasionally if you use Groupon you can find discounted tickets to take the balloon up in the air for an unobstructed view of the Disney Springs area.

Chartering a Boat at Disney: This is luxury on the water, and it’s a specialty experience to cruise the seven seas lagoon. You can charter the boat or pontoon for a fireworks show, day cruise around the world, celebrations or private dining experiences. Pricing can be found on the WDW website, but if you are celebrating valentine’s day in a group setting, the split fare is quite reasonable.

Give the gift of a memory: Disney Florals and Gifts is a great way to add that additional oomph to your magical Valentine’s celebration. You also don’t have to be on property to receive the magic. Disney will deliver to hotels and even residences in the vicinity of WDW. They unfortunately do not deliver outside of their limited radius, but other companies affiliated with Disney will definitely do so such as ROSESHIRE.

Captured memories: Break out your Sunday best and strike a pose. Disney Fine Art Photography is a beautiful way to capture memories at Disney. There are portrait sessions available, and even wedding photography. With packages that start at $500 you can expect the best of the best and some of the most memorable locations for photos.

Not at the Parks, but want to Disney-fy your Valentines?

Here are four ideas to help you bring the Disney magic into your own home.

  1. Purchase something special from your local Disney store.
  2. Order something online, may we suggest Alex and Ani bracelets or Pandora Charms?
  3. Schedule a Disney movie date night. Disney+ has so many wonderful movies available.
  4. Cook a Disney inspired meal. Roam the interwebs or crack open a Disney cookbook and find something to replicate in house. Recipies from Disney restaurants are surprisingly easy to make, and really it’s the thought that counts.
