No, we aren’t Disney official Mickey Mouse Club (MMC) members nor are we affiliated to Disney, so we don’t get a cool parade on Main Street, but we believe that if you love Disney, old and new, you too are a Mouseketeer.
As one of the original Mouseketeers, Mr. Lonnie Burr, so eloquently put it “Being a Mouseketeer, or identifying with being a Mouseketeer, has to do with recapturing elements of our social structure that are rapidly disappearing or have become only vestiges, memories. These elements are: connection, belonging, family.”
When you listen to our podcast, not only are you getting some great Disney info, we hope to bring you a sense of that connection, belonging, and family that was created by the Mouseketeer Movement.
